Hey all, wanted some advice. Looking at a 2007 TC45DA with about 700 hours for $9000. Good and bad here.
Good:
Runs well. FEL is in good shape. PTO looks like it been used maybe twice, ever. Worked the dealer down to 9k which seems low. Comes with box blade.
Bad:
Has sat for awhile. Was used by landscaping company and looks like it got wet frequently. Wheels are a bit rusty, and the footboard is quite rusty. Bucket cylinder needs repacked, as it is leaking pretty badly. Headlights and front grill are busted out and missing, looks like something slid back off the loader into them. Starter wire broke and needs fixed, gets started right now by jumping the solenoid.
Any thoughts? I like the idea of a lower hour machine even though it has sat for awhile. I am willing to make some repairs if the price is right.
Part of me still feels like I should just buy a John Deere 2240 2wd with FEL that is for sale locally for $4250, but was really looking more for a modern CUT.
