Price Check Price Check (7800,3030,3400)

This is the quote I recently got from my local dealer. How do these prices look and what model would you choose? I have to do alot of mowing, but eventully I would like to work the ground a bit. What are the pros and cons of each? Is anyone familiar with the Brushhog RDTH60? How does the cut look?

That is the going price here. There may be room for a few hundred to haggle. I have the same setup, bought Oct 06, US$18,000. A very sweet machine.

Had I to do it again and wanted the cab comfort, I'd do the 3030. Same machine, a few extra options. I opted the 7800 as the options didn't mean that much to me. I saw where someone here (self-proclaimed fat boy) would get the 3030 for the tilt-wheel, to accommodate his particular size.

I closed the deal on a B7800 yesterday. I'd had a price of $23,478.60 including $1678.60 in state use tax at 7.7%.

When I went in to make the deal after trotting that price in comparison both here and around town, and looking at comparable Kioti and MH tractors I started up talking to the same fella' I'd met before - discussing other tractors and the merits or failings of each.

In the midst of talking about Kioti's I interupted to say "Bill, make this $23,000 even out the door and we'll have a deal right now.

And he took it!

So it's like this:

B7800 - $12,500.
LA402fl- $3100.
BH75a- $6200.
total: $21,800.

Tax adds $1200. in my mind but the truth of it is that the dealer will have to fork over the total tax less 7.7% of the $487.60 reduction on the tractor so right figuring would show the tractor being sold for........

$21,321.40 !!

The tires will be filled R4's, I took the 0% down, 0% for 36 mo.

I'm liking the feel of the whole thing!! He called late in the day to apologize for maybe not being able to deliver before the 4th because they'll have to get a subframe kit from the warehouse.

edit: I'll get the new seat at no additional cost as soon as it's in stock.

Look at the price of a BX and look at the price of a 3030 not a real big differance for what you are getting. It just there is a larger market for the BX.

Tractor shopping is driving me nuts. The prices I have listed are the lowest I have found so far. I'd really like to get the B3030 for 19000 out the door, but I don't know if that price is possible. I've started to look at out of state dealers. Hopfully they will get back to me with some #'s I can throw at my local dealers.

I would only price dealers that you can get it at. I wouldn't use them to get a beter price locally.
I know I can't buy here in CT Did I give them a shot? Yes and they blew it. I am in the market for a B7610 when I get the price I need I will buy but not until then, do I want a tractor? Yes. Do I have to have one? No
I really do feel like kubota and others are price gouging on the small units.
