I traded my RTV1140CPX yesterday to Barlows for a RTV900XT and the physical trade should be completed this week. paper work done.
I bought this RTV1140CPX new and maintained it per owners manual since new. It has a top and obviously is camo. Here are some pics and it's also in my profile pic. I would recommend it to my brother or any family member. IMG_0713.JPGIMG_0712.JPGIMG_0711.JPG

So if you liked it so much why did you trade it in?

Maybe he wanted a bigger bed or didn't need the two seats anymore. Who cares really..

This is my 26th Kubota in 15 years and you ask why I traded.:laughing::laughing:
I thought I wanted a easier to turn two seater like my RTV500 which my Grandson has taken over but I did get the RTV900 with the big bed well actually my wife explained the error of my ways by trading to a one seater and I called Steve Barlow and told him to deliver me a RTV1140 with chrome wheels instead of the RTV900. I will and have recommended my trade in to family and friends but they've already got Kubota RTVs and other brand RTVs. In fact I need to post my trade in on my Facebook page for other F and Fs.
I've actually owned the RTV1140 longer than any other Kubota and never expected to trade it but I was at the dealership and with the trade in I was given and the discount on the new one with 0 hours and 4 wheel suspension and 48 months at 0% it was a no brainer to trade.

Old RTV1140 gone and new RTV X 1140 here. I drove the new one up the mountain on my fair gravel road and ther is a world of difference in the ride of the new one with suspension as well as seats are more comfortable. Seems a bit more peppy but was only in low range up and down the hill. The new one with top just barely fits under the overhead garage door. My Grands are gone but will be here in a few days to test it out and give their evaluation. Sure the 8 year old will like it better with the tilt wheel and sliding adjustable drivers seat. This reminds me of my trade many years ago of a Datsun 2000 Roadster that would take any curve at any speed and rode like a roller skate to the new Datsun 240Z that was awesome rider and driver but seemed to smooth to take the curves but as I kept pushing it further and further I discovered it would. Refinement is an admirable word and this new RTV X 1140 exudes refinement over my first RTV1140CPX. Time will tell if the new with do the work as the old one did without a stutter.
