Hello to all,

What would cause the rodents to want to go in btw the wires! I have heard of ants being attracted to the area around the contacts bc of the electrical field. Is this the same w rodents?

At least it was prob fast...did not impede pump as is. Went to increase the pressure some re irrigation system and duly noted.

Anything recommended to prevent a future breach? Thanks

Note, this is during the summer heat so it sure isn't to warm up.

Hiding from predators looking for nesting area?

Fortunate didn’t chew insulation off the wires or short something out.

I think when the well was turned off during the cold [lines drained] they crawled in their and when the power was turned back, they got fried...

That's pretty incredible! I've often had ants get into mine, but never - so far - mice! I'm knocking on wood now!!
