You will be in our prayers. We have a boy and girl about the same age as you. Although I can only imagine what you are going through, your situation hits home. May God Bless and keep you and yours!

I don't know anyone who wouldn't be scared. Surgery, chemo, and radiation are all a bit rough, and scary, but I know a lot of women now who went through that and lived another 40 or more years, so there's good reason to keep things positive. And we'll certainly keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
You didn't mention what type of cancer. I have two sisters-in-law that have had breast cancer and went through all the procedures listed. One was about 10 years ago and the other was about 6-7 years ago. Both are doing great. I believe in prayer and that God hears the prayers of his people. If you're not a little scared, you're not normal.

I'm just up the road from you in Carrollton. We will keep you and your wife in our prayers and if there is anything we can do just let me know. I know it is probably strange asking a stranger to do something for you but I honestly wouldn't mind. It's how people in these parts get by sometimes. No shame in it, i have been leaning heavily on family and friends lately myself.
I have two kids also, one 4 years and one 19 months so I know how dependent you are on your wife to "take care of the kids". It can be hard when they aren't able to.
My wife's g-pa went through this recently and he came out pretty well. I wish the same for you and your wife.
I'm serious about needing anything. Just let me know and I'll do what I can. Do you mind telling what type of cancer she has? If not I understand.

You may need someone to talk to just to talk about it with someone who understands. Check with the local cancer treatment center or the Cancer Society and locate a spouse support group. They will be a safe place for you to talk about what is going on for you.
