Power Trac's Father On T.V.?

Did anyone catch yesterday's edition of Extreme Home Makover on ABC? They re-did a house for a family in W.VA. in mining country. When they tore down the house, they ran a mining machine through it. It sure looked like a Lo Trac, the Power Trac's father.

At first I thought so, but the cab position is different....

The only marking on the video was for the coal mining company...

Whatever it was, it sure went through that house like nothing!

Like butter. I have a video clip.. More impressed by the house lying on top of the tractor.. Guess the guy was in a caged in ROPS... Still...

It kind of reminded me of that troop hauler in the 2nd Alien movie, but lower to the ground. See if you can work one into one of your future movie projects. Dress it up like a weasel or badger or something and have it chase people through (litterally) houses and stuff.

Trust me, working stuff into my projects is half of my day. I am always one for free stuff.

Saddly, I have only done one project with a tractor, and it was not donated. I did get a Porsche 911 GT2 for 3 months (then they took it away at the end of filming).

The big trick is to see how I can convince accounting that a trencher is a device to hold lights to the ceiling...

Basically the best I have ever really done was a near lifetime supply of tampons, or maybe the 300 boxes of Cocoa Crispy's...

A friend was trying to write a book on how he bought his first house with petty cash (fake reciepts).
