Power Tech for SUDT

Discussing SUDT today with my local Kubota dealer, he advised that he is using and selling Power Tech Hydraulic fluid made by Royal Manufacturing in Tulsa Ok. He does not even carry the Kubota brand oil anymore and uses the Power Tech in all service shop work. The jug on the shelf was labelled for Kubota SUDT applications. He uses this product as it is about 40% cheaper than the Kubota brand.
I cannot find any info on the Royal mfg site for this specific product. Does anybody have any info on this oil?

That's what i was talking about.
I knew there was an other word in fromt of Tech but I could not think of it ; but i knew it wasn't Power.

The Royal site gives all their product information but I think you may have misread the label. Their hydraulic trans oil is listed as Kubota UDT not SUDT. See their attached product bulletin PDF file. KennyV.

Kenny- I found that on their site also but the one gallon jug on the shelf (product code 256-6101) specified SUDT. I have written the company for additional info, but haven't recieved a reply from them. I could not get the search engine for their site to work so I couldn't look up the product code. My dealer buys it in bulk for the shop and in containers for retail. He claimed that it was the same as SUDT and the container stated it was equal to SUDT. Maybe someone at the company will respond to my e-mail and clarify.

I would be very supprised if they can claim to meet both specs. This debtate on SUDT and UDT is years old.

Even Amsoil will NOT meet SUDT since the "s" fluid can go in other applications. Amsoil makes their fluid for a hyd, not another application. If the fluid meets UDT specs, use it and be happy.

My local dealer told me that if I don't use Kubota brand hydraulic fluid that my warrenty would be voided. It sounds like this isn't true.

Any insight into this?
