When you check the fluid level on a 3525 do you check it after the indicator has been screwed down all the way or just by sticking it in and pulling out? If you screw the it in it goes down about another 3/4 of an inch and it gives me a full reading. If I just stick it in I'm well below the mark. The manual says nothing about the proper way to do it. Thanks.

That's a good question....

I've been checking mine by just sticking it in and pulling it out (not screwing it in). I figure that too much is better than too little... when you do your filter change, if you get a bit too much in there (as I did), it will just blow harmlessly out the breather holes in the cap (although it will make a bit of a mess).
