power seat on s10 chevey blazer 1995 (driver side)
the seat functions all work but reversing the seat back away from the steering wheel.
1 up/down toggle switch for front tilt up/down
1 up/down toggle switch for rear tilt up/down
1 4 way (up/down/left/right) to move seat up/down/forward/backwards
seat is currently clear up against steering wheel.
all the motors seem like they are spinning, when i press the various buttons/knobs on seat, except when i press (backwards) to move the seat backwards. (nothing happens, no motor spinning or like)
i do not see any sort of limiting sensors under the seat, so i guess there some sort of limit sensor in one of the 3 electrical motors. that is not letting the seat move backwards?
multi meter reads 12v's, when using a pig tail / test wires. across all contacts. so the switches them selves are all good. and i am getting 12v each way off the switches for running each motor forward and reverse.
=================
what is best way to take seat out of the blazer?
i have 4 bolts that mount the track to the floor, and then 4 bolts that connect track to the seat. ((any info on torque would be most helpful for re-installing the seat!))
