power rake vs, pulverizer

I just purchased a JD 3320 w/fel for my home use but I wanted to also do some side work with it.I was hoping to get with some builders and do some final grades before sod goes down, but it seems everyones says to get the power rake and there is no way I can afford one of those right now after getting the tractor. What else can I get that will work for what I want to do, will a pulverizer work?I have a box blade already.

Another alternative you might consider is the TR3 rake. Haven't seen it myself but several guys on TBN have them and give it thumbs up as an economical and effective alternative to the powerrakes. TR3 Rake

For sod prep, use a york rake once major holes and hills are balanced with box scraper just before sod is laid otherwise for final grade (making sure water is diverted from where it shouldnt be, just use a box scraper. If a seperate company is coming in to lay sod let them worry about rocks and raking.

Sod doesnt need the tilled seed bed like the pulveriser and harley rake leave
