I recently purchased a ~2000 model with a Great Bend 240 FEL, and I would like to add BP for to power my log splitter. The hydraulic pump for this tractor is rated at 7.1 GPM. The relief-diverter valve has been adjusted by rotating the spool position to the 10:00 position. My question is, which line is the best place to cut into to get fluid for the PB, assuring that when in operation, I will be sending all 7.1 GPMs to the splitter. Once the line is determined, I plan to install a single spool selector valve just to turn on the PB. (Which of course will turn off the flow to other areas of the tractor. I do not need to have the function of the lift arms or the FEL while running the splitter)
