I have been thinking about buying one.

Would those PT masters with experience with the post driver care to share their thoughts?
1) Speed?
2) Advantages compared to augering holes and filling/cementing?
3) Limitations: speed in rocky ground, post diameter, tendency to destroy posts on rocks, etc.
4) The utility of the cement cracking foot?

1) In easy ground like my sandy soil, one post per minute is posible - 3 minutes per post reasonable, 5 minutes if you're careful to get posts near vertical, etc.
2) Quicker than auguring, placing posts and tamping, and much firmer. I've never used cement.
3) 4 or 5" posts better than bigger, but we've driven 7"
Rocks make them kick crooked. If a big rock, post stops, top crushes, a bit. Then we move it.
4) Haven't used it myself, but saw a lot of busted 3"-5" thick concrete at Tazewell when PT first tried it out in their own construction. Terry said it really worked.
