Has anyone had experience with hydraulic post driver attachments? I'm looking at purchasing a post driver for my BX24 - a Shaver PD8. Weight is fine since my machine has the backhoe. According to the manual and the latest check by the dealer, the hydraulics are at minimum for operating the driver. Questions I have are...
1. Will minimum hydraulic rate/flow operate the driver?
2. Will minimum hydraulic rate/flow make the driver operate at a slow rate? (Not a problem for me since it'll be used for residential fence posts)
3. Have there been problems with operating such equipment on a BX24?
I want to use the driver for my light landscaping business, driving posts for homeowners who want to put fences in their yards, post replacement, and such. Any advice, suggestions, cautions would be appreciated...
