This is a new portable rock soil screener that we have developed to be used with bucket tractors and skidsteers. It can be used with or without a vibratory pack.
It weighs 1300 lbs and can be fitted with mesh as small as 1/8" and up to 6" for erosion control rack. You can see it in action on You Tube when you type in SLG-78.

The price is 2995.00 for the screener with a 3/4 x 4" elongated soil mesh. The vibratory pack is 1100 and is 110 volt

The first thing that comes to mind is that your design could be slightly tweaked to be used for separating lead/copper from soil used in shooting backstops. The designs I've seen have been much bigger, and more expensive. They set them up on site, pour all the soil through, and reclaim all the lead and copper chunks (within reason) because lead and copper are pricey now. The soil then goes back to the backstop...no sense in putting fresh soil in to get contaminated with lead. In some states they won't lead you do that (stupid), but many do. Even most medium size clubs could afford your screener, and rent a skid steer for a couple of days every 5-10 years, and it would be far cheaper than paying someone else to do it. Just a thought...

Thanks for your feed back. We have sold some of our bigger units to gun ranges in the past, but you are correct there are many small gun ranges that are needing to remove the lead from the soil. Because these machines can be transported so easily, I can see gun ranges sharing the unit amongst there gun clubs.
