Thanks to all for the thoughts....cutting bar stock with the sawzall when it is 92 degrees and 98% humidity reminds me how nice it would to flick the switch and start measuring the next piece...fantasies. Must be the heat (we aren't built for it up here) getting to me. Harbor Freight and TSC haven't gotten to within a five hour drive of us. Northern has what appears to be the same unit ($200)...now for the shipping /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Getting closer to the cost of a Jet and ....I better stay used to the Sawzall for now.
