Pocket sized JD

Needed something to mow around the house, didn't feel like trailering "big" blue up every week, so look in the yellow pages... Only choices were JD & Toro. Brought this baby home in the back of the pickup. Hall Implement in Windham, ME was very accomodating. We showed up 5 minutes before closing on saturday. He sold us the tractor, went over all the features, included a free hat, oil & filter for first change & loaded it up. It's an L110 in case you are wondering.

I bought one of these earlier this year. Very nice little mower, but I wan't impressed with the cut. Seem to leave lot's of blades untouched even at a slow speed.

What made me return it was that it just didn't take to slopes well. The small rear tires would spin turning on a slope and the little front tires didn't like anything but nice smooth flat ground.
Bigger tires all around would have helped. It has lots of nice features and the engine seems to have plenty of power.

I only tried it out briefly in very wet grass, the cut looked great (3.5"). I had it set up for side discharge, not mulching. Time will tell how it holds up to the rolling hills. The steep stuff is for the "big" tractor with MFWD.

9 times out of ten i bet i've seen that tractor before /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif it comes out of greeneville tn.. that's the biggest seller..

we were pushing i think ~2000 a day at close to 10000-11000 a week if memory serves me correctly..

I did quality auditing and final assembly..
