Is that a 5 foot blade? I've been looking for one. The main problem with FEL snow removal is spilling over the sides. I'm running a BX2230 and thought 5 feet would be big enough to handle, but still might not reach far enough to catch the spill. But 6 feet seems like a whole lotta blade for such a small tractor and all the pictures I see of them are behind 8N's or maybe even bigger.

I have a somewhat light to medium duty 7 ft KK blade from Fleet Farm that I use behind my BX. I really only use it for final smoothing of crushed rock on my driveway, usually with the blade turned backwards. The extra width is nice for that. If you are only going to use it for moving the snow spill, you shouldn't have a problem.

(I have used the 7ft blade forward, but only moving small amounts of stone at a time. I think trying to move much dirt with that wide a blade I'm sure I would run into traction problems - I use a 4 ft BB and/or my 5 ft Land Pride blade when I'm doing more serious ground engaging.)

I use a full size 5' rear blade (not sub cut) behind my BX with no problem but any bigger than that wouldn't work well. In 2010 we got back to back monster storms and I ran out of traction before running out of power clearing 22" of snow at a time. We're due for a foot or more of heavy wet stuff tonight into tomorrow---might be trouble if I don't take it in a couple passes. Tends to kick the back end out to the side if the load gets too heavy which is why I wouldn't recommend any wider blade.
