Can you tell us what grooving tool you ended up with?
I don’t have a BH so my “step 2” for getting unstuck is to position the blade flat on the ground (FEL up and curl down) and ease the FEL controls (typically curl up) to move the tractor.

Yup, on the Yanmar SA series its part of the brake pedal!

wow that would be hard to get used to... it was hard enough for me to get used to the brake on the left side on my new tractor. Use to the clutch on the left and break and gas on the right.
