please help...Bobcat or McCormick.or other.

I am looking at a new tractor, I will be finish mowing 4 acres, tilling/plowing a 2 acre garden, and possibly later on may sow some hay or beans on a couple of acres.. I am looking at a Bobcat CT230, i have a price of $11,800 and a McCormick CT36, I have a price of $13,500. Which of these would you recommend or would you recommend something different? I am looking to stay at or under the $13000 range. Please help!

Are you getting a loader or just the tractor?
Gear or Hydro?

the bobcat is 30 HP and the McCormick is 38 HP. I would get greedy and go big!

I would think the Mc has a 4 cyl and the Bob a 3 cyl if that matters to you.

The CT335 is probably closer to the McCormick model you are comparing it to; what price can you get on that one? Bobcat site is acting up so I can't get the specs for the 335.

I know the bobcat has some nice options, not sure how the Mc compares (telescopic draft links). I would love to have those.

I think the McCormick is identical to my tractor (Mitsubishi engine). Hydrostatic is optional. For the price you have ($13.5) that must be without HST and loader?
