Thanks for posting the additional pics. Though I must admit I'm even a little more confused. Is the front remote actually a third function instead of an Aux? It seems likes it might be given the wiring and solenoid attached to the FEL. Is there a button/switch used to activate it? Also what is the source for the hydraulic fluid? It looks like it might be in common with the curl function? It would be interesting if it was plumbed as a power beyond type configuration, although I'm not sure if the Bobcat FEL joystick spool supports that.

Steve

steve looks like the two lines closest to the motor that feed the fel out of the qa's go into that diverter with solenoid to send fluid to the front aux their is a thumb button attached to joy stick by wire ties sorry its tough getting good pics of that area but included a couple more .

sorry I'm not the best on hydro but learning a little as I go , so I might have misdescribed front as aux when it is somthing other. with that said with the set up I have other than grapple what can this be used for ?

It would be nice if you could use it for the Bob-Tach feature like some of the skid steers have. I would like to know if your front aux. setup allows you to open/close and curl at the same time. Thanks

I believe the aux and the third function is the same thing.

3rd Function Valve (optional)

The 3rd Function Auxiliary hydraulic Valve allows you to do more than ever. Optional front remotes and the Skid Steer-type quick coupler enables the use of a 4-in-1 bucket, grapple bucket and various other hydraulically controlled implements. The 3rd Function Valve can be easily activated with a button located on the grip of the loader joystick.

Rear remotes

The optional auxiliary valve kit is essential for getting the most out of your backhoe attachments. Use them to operate the Hydraulic Thumb, auger and more.

Third function valve

Aux valve

Rear remotes

SCV Selective Control valve

PTO valve Electric or manual

How would you describe the operation of each valve, and where is it used.

Can an aux valve be electric or manual?

If you want to control speed on a hyd motor, is that an aux valve or a third function?
