IF the dealer will allow. Take pictures for warranty purposes. Drill and tap the hole. Use a set screw to plug it.

I would be surprised if "peening" wouldn't stop the leak. Peening is nothing more than peening the metal in around the pin hole. Much like peening a rivet. Again it would be a good idea to get the dealers blessing.

I'd put a 2" square patch of rubber from something like an old floor mat or door mat over the hole and then put a large radiator type screw clamp over the 'patch', after also installing a thin piece of metal the same size as the rubber patch. Protect the entire circumference of the cylinder with plastic cut from a milk jug or large water bottle, so to not leave clamp marks, then fire her up. Done; back on the trail!

Had a small pin hole.
-actually smaller than the one in your picture on my koyker K2 loader curl cylinder.
Since it was out of warranty by 15 years , I just ground the area clean and mig welded a short bead over the pin hole area.
Then cleaned up the weld and re painted the end of the cylinder.
No leaks or seepage since.

Sounds like your machine is in warranty- so it certainly makes sense to get a new cylinder installed

It does make a new machine look not so new- when oil is leaking out of areas that should be dry.

Hope the cylinder arrives soon- and your up and running .

This would be my solution also, but it is under warranty! the idea of drilling & tapping may cause metal chips to get in the hydro system.
