Here are the pictures of the 2006 John Deere 3120. Here is the low down of what is on the tractor. cruise control with motion match and Automatic 4 WD switch, 300X loader with 60" bucket,Rear and forward light kits,power beyound kit,I-match,Heavy duty alternator 55 amp,mid pto,60" rear frontier blade,and warning light brush guard kit. You mentioned "automatic 4WD" and that is a new one to me.
How does that feature work compared to the manual switch or lever? i.e. what makes it 'automatic'?

Is it 'new' on the 2006? Or does the '2006' mean it is new to you in 2006?

It is a 2006 model. The 4Wd works like it does on a all wheel drive trucks. You have full time 4WD or all time automatic for wheel drive which means it kicks in ownly when you need it . You have to ask your John Deere dealer so the can order it from the factory. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Matthew great looking tractor you have there. If your automatic 4WD is anything like the SensiTrak like I have on the New Holland you're going to love it. It's in and out automatically whenever needed which helps to keep you out of trouble yet doesn't tear up the grass needlessly.
