Finished! All new fluids and filters, paint and wax, new plexi windows for the Sims cab, a few modifications and bathed every nut and bolt in WD40. Looking a whole lot nicer than when I drug it home. I'm actually looking forward to the first big snow to try it out.

I added two LED worklights up front and one on the back of the cab. Spendy, but they put out great light and only eat 1 amp each.

I modded the aux. hydraulics mount and made a new lever using the stock rubber on the handle .

I'm always paranoid my "finger tight only" oil filter is going to vibrate off and lunch the motor. The up arrow marking lets me know at a glance it hasn't twisted loose.

This quick coupling plugs into a battery tender / trickle charger (comes with "Battery Tender Junior"). Ring mounts stay on the battery. Makes it easy to plug in.

This view of the back of the cabin with the seat tilted shows the Sims cab heater on the left, a small toolbox I made out of an old HF socket container and the new cab under apron I made out of an old Dillards suit bag. I love scrounging stuff.

I moved the rear wheels out for an extra 4" of wheelbase. Only a little but it really changes the feel.

So go ahead and snow!

Very nice job. You may be getting your wish for snow a lot sooner than planned the way the temps have been falling.

Looks very good!! Do I recall seeing before pics?? Only thing I can think of might be a fan for blowing on some of the windows (if there isn't one already) depending on temp difference when you are blowing snow. I remember having to always adjust the heater vents on the cab tractor depending on the type of snow and temp. No problem with that now - don't have a cab. brrrrr

Thanks Red4Now. Before pics are the second post here;

The heater is a box in the back corner. It has a round port that I may have to plumb a tube off of and aim at the windshield. We'll see. I really don't know how its going to do as the cab is the size of an old phone booth - really tight - so fogging may be serious.

Now I'm thinking of modding the wiper with a pantagraphic arm to clear more area - one of those marine or truck types with the dual arms.

Then maybe bolt a rubber Godzilla on as a hood ornament...:rolleyes:
