Kioti CK30HST, Kubota BX-1500,
Seems to be a problem with leaking oil coolers (in front of radiator) on CK25 - 30 HST's, even when replaced.

Could people with bigger Kioti HST's when convenient post a picture of their hydraulic oil coolers, preferably with a ruler nearby with close up of connections so we might see if we can use a different cooler?

Thanks!

Mike

New Holland had this problem years back. Are they using rubber hoses to turn the corner from the oil cooler? CNH changed out the lines for metal.

2005 era ck25 and 30 HST's seem to have had original metal lines to the cooler, then they changed to rubber lines to the cooler. But comments here seem to indicate that the leaks occur with either type of line.

George, Does that ruler line up with bottom of the oil cooler? If so, that's nearly twice as tall as the cooler on my CK30 HST. (See picture, sorry it's upside down)

The first ones in the CK series had steel lines with no rubber at all.
Second gen had hydraulic hose run to the cooler.
All coolers have looked the same.
First ones said Toyo Radiator.

No, I just stuck it in there for scale.

George, does that CK35 cooler have flexible lines to it or steel lines?

Thanks for the picture.

My original oil cooler looked like the one in the picture, black, on my CK35 HST. It leaked and I replaced it (under warranty) with the same size. Just is silver like in color. Probably unpainted. Rubber lines going to it. No leaks now. Bought mine last August have 120 hrs on it.

Thanks, so CK35 oil cooler leaks also, rats, I was hoping it was different and I could put one on my CK30. Probably the same one, no reason why not.

Maybe Kioti is reading this and we we all get a new revised one in the mail soon?

Just looking at two or three data points here, it doesn't seem the flexible lines were the solution to the problem, it was/is a continuing manufacturing defect in the cooler.

Pinholes? Cracks? Anybody looked closely at a bad one?

Mike
