Hello TBN! Hope everybody is doing well this Sunday morning!

I'm looking for an all terrain forklift and don't have much of a budget.

I have came across an old Pettibone, 1946 I believe is the year.

It is 4x4 full time and a 6 cyl. gas engine.

Does anybody have any idea what something like this is worth?

I'm not looking for anything to last me the rest of my life...just something to get me started in my business.

I would just buy a cushion or pneumatic tire lift, but I don't have any concrete in or around my "shop". I say "shop" b/c I don't have one...it's just the place I do my work.

I appreciate any input!

Here is the description and a picture:
"Pettibone forklift that is four wheel drive it has a wisconsin 4cyl gas engine and a reach of around 22 feet. It runs good and operates well."

I've purchased quite a few items off of IronPlanet's auctions. Older rough terrain lifts like that one generally don't go for much at all; maybe $500 if it's running and working. The general consensus is that it's most likely worn out and just about everything on it needs attention and odds are that you'll be working on it each time you use it. I've seen some go for as low as $200 - $300. I figure people are just buying them for scrap steel then. Still, if you have to go far to fetch it, clean it and then haul it to the scrap yard, you really won't come out much ahead if you count your time for anything.
