Just overhauled a MF to-35, can't get it to start, has a very erratic spark. Has a pertronix distributor that I don't Know much about. The magnetic ring on distributor has play in it, is this normal or my problem. Thanks

Ring should be firm over cam...If its loose the spacing between pickup unit and ring will vary causing it to be erratic... And don't connect up the leads backwards, electronic module goes POOF! if you do... And there is a set spacing electronic module need to be from ring...
