PB port for 270 Loader

Is there a power beyond port on the fender mounted control valve for the 270 loader.
I'm asking because I wan't to add a 3rd function valve to the loader. I have one, I purchased for my 2120 that never got installed.

Typically, the outlet port of the valve can be equiped with a power beyond cartridge and another valve fed from it. If the existing valve is already equipped with a pb cartridge, and the pressure continues to the rear hydraulics then you will need a pb cartridge in the new valve to continue the pressure line to the rear hydraulics.

An alternate way of accomplishing a third function is to install a diverter valve to you present valve. I can attach a pdf of one that can be obtained through Northern Tool if you are interested.

Thanks Gurney, I think I found the answer in the Woods BH manual.
I not mounting a BH at this time just a front 3rd function for a grapple.
It's my understanding that if I tap into the PB line I will get a condition while using the 3rd function that does not have a PB port that my 3PH will be dead as well as my rear remotes? Correct.

You are correct. If you connect to the power beyond line and do not continue the power beyond through another valve and then on to the rear the rear hydraulics would not have any pressure. However, the addition of a selector valve to the existing loader valve will not affect the power beyond. It simply adds another option to one of the functions of the loader valve.
