I am looking to buy a set of Paynes heavy duty 4000 lb forks for my Terex Backhoe. I already have a good set of hay-forks custom built for my New Holland TV-140 Tractor, but during this time of the year I cannot use them because I have to blow snow with the New Holland.
I would use the Paynes Forks to haul 1-ton bales up the road 100 yards to my cattle feeders. My concerns before I buy: are these going to be reliable for this type of use and recommended? Will they move around or twist left and right while driving, and will they put too much stress on the front of my bucket? Thank you for your help.
