Hi All,

Does anyone have experience using this device?

Do you have any suggestions for an alternative. Is there a someplace to buy this with a better price?

I want to be able park, unpark, and move small trailers around my lot. A boat trailer, a small popup camping trailer, and a utility trailer. I don't want to have to screw around with my 3-point hitch to do this. I own a BX24.

Looks cool, but I'd be weary of using it. I've seen folks drill a hole in their FEL for a ball...much the same effect.

Problem is that you have such a long lever-arm at the end of the FEL that the likelyhood that the rear end gets light (or even picks up) is fairly high. If your machine is in 2WD, this is a real killer because you then lose all braking control. Even in 4WD, you can brake, but there is no way to lock the front wheels together. If you lift the rear and are on some odd slope or something, you could get in trouble in a real hurry.

Of course, you could drop your load and get things straight real quick. But that is easy to do when hauling firewood or a stump...far more difficult when you're hauling a boat.

I had previously posted installing a hitch ball in the foot-pegs of my BH6000...I've found it to be an acceptable compromise to removing the BH simply to get to a trailer ball. I am more comfortable with this arrangement than having all that weight at the tippy end of my FEL. At least if something happens, I have some options.

Just my 2 cents. Folks may have used these things with a very high degree of success and would call my a sissy.
