Paumco Quick Spade in Canada

Looking to buy this spade in Canada.

I found some "equivalent" products, but the prices are way too high. Does anyone know if Paumco has a dealer in Canada, bonus if they are in Ontario? I'd accept a comparable product, at a comparable price also.

I have a lot of Autumn Olives to uproot, and that spade would likely work well on my pallet forks.

Id recommend buying a dedicated spade bucket if you want to have your forks remain parallel. Forks are made to lift, not push and dig.

I bought the 4000lbs heavy duty forks for this very reason. When they are jammed to gether I think they would be quite strong, but that is a good point.

Has anyone permanently bent their forks with a slip on bucket spade? if so what were the circumstances (tractor, fork capacity and length, soil type, specific project/extraction)?

Bucket spades vary considerably in weight.

Buy Bucket Spade weight proportional to tractor weight. Light for up to 2,000 pounds bare tractor weight. Medium for 2,500 to 3,500 pound bare tractor weight. Heavy for 4,000 to 5,000 pounds bare tractor weight.

If you buy a heavy spade for a light tractor you will have little spade "payload". The length of a heavy spade works against you on a light tractor.

Bent forks are common at the scrap yard.

Use a combo spade with forks on the Kubota B26 for olive and privet shallow rooted invasives. Would have to be careful with a bigger tractor.
