Pats quick hitch won't fit

I bought a Pat's quick hitch during the black Friday sale here for my girlfriends tractor so we could leave the backhoe on mine most of the time. The hitches won't slide over the ends of the lift arms, there is a bell shaped end on them. I have sent an email to Pat's but have not received a reply.
Anybody have any ideas? I would like to return it if it won't fit but not sure how to go about it.

That looks like some kind of repair when you don't have a welder. Typically, you cut the end off (where the weld is in front of the ball) and weld on a new end which has a new ball. I've never seen a flange repair like that.

Forgot to mention: You won't get a box-tube QH to fit over those either.

Wow, never have seen such a customized 3pt lift arm as in the photo. Probably 1 in a Million tractors are like that. I would return the Pat's for a refund or just keep them for your tractor. Grinding down so that Pat's will fit may weaken the end of the 3pt lift arm. Was that tractor using a 3pt backhoe or a subframe backhoe.

Those flange style are meant to replace the ball once the old one wears out. Not a bad idea but just cumbersome.

If you still want the quick hitch ability, you can give the Euro Hooks a try. The Pats are kind of a bad copy of these Euro hooks but with limited freedom of movement.

The Euro hooks does require cutting the old ends off and weld the new one in, which is not a bad thing as it doesn't extend the arms further like the Pats.

Basically you have a pair of balls that will stay on the attachment, you just back up the tractor to the implement, lift the arms till the balls sits on the hook. Just hook up the top link, PTO or hydraulic hoses if needed and you're good to go.

It came standard on my tractor and it's all I will ever use. Several people on TBN have converted their tractor to this and are very very happy with it. It's a bit pricey though, but worth it.

Ilove my pats Qh bad copy or not. A welding shop could easily weld new ball ends on your lift arms. most farm and home stores carry them. You could get new lift arms but that would be a lot more money.

No, never had a backhoe mounted. There is only 500 hours on the tractor, I can't imagine the ball ends wore out that quickly. It really looks like it came from the factory that way.

it might take a while but i would grind that down and not give a hoot if i weakened it [which i would not] cause it would be worthless to me at it is.

Might consider getting another set of lift arms:

Lower Link Arm, Tractor Link Arm, Link Arm

Then use them with the quick hitch and keep the originals as they are.
