Back to the continuing story of the Pasquali rototiller restoration for my tractor. I now have power from the tractor drive to the rototiller but the tines won’t turn. This is maybe not that surprising since the machine had been an ornament in a flower garden for 18 years and I was maybe a tad optimistic expecting it to turn when the original universal bit for the drive was rusted solid, but the actual drive shaft was OK.
Anyhow, as you can see from the attached photos I have got the retaining rod out of the tine assembly but have no idea how to take the actual tone assembly apart? Since the whole thing needs a retaining rod and I can’t see any pins or clips on the sections I’m thinking if I hit the sections with a hammer the could fall apart, but since equally I might just total the whole thing I thought I’d seek advice first
If anyone has had any experience dismantling one of these rototiller’s or can point me at a manual ( for which I’ve spent 2 days combing the internet) I would be insanely grateful!
Many thanks in advance
