Parts Supplier other than a dealer?

I need to replace the 802 and 803 air filters on my 4300. Anyone have experience ordering parts online from any of the following?

We use filter 1 for all filters and there great, less than half from Cat, Deere, and Bobcat

Several that you mention are Deere dealers that just are online.

I go to my Deere dealer, as I want him to stay in business and parts is just one way that it happens. They may be a bit more, but I'd prefer to have them within 12 mile drive than have to go another 50 if this one doesn't make it.

I always buy my parts from my dealer. I would understand the reasoning if the tractor model was a vintage model of tractor, and the local dealer didn't have the filters available. Most dealers keep an ample supply of various parts on hand. Using deductive reasoning would lead me to believe that shipping costs would have to be added to the parts by shopping online. The price difference??????????:tractor:

Buy local and support your local dealer whenever possible. It will pay off down the road.

MSRP from Deere is right at $30 total for those two part numbers. I can't see saving a significant amount, especially in a situation where you have to pay shipping. I'd be willing to bet even NAPA or Carquest won't save much.

My "local dealer" is over an hours drive away, but he will have filter sales that make JD parts cheaper than some of the auto-jobbers prices. I like to buy the "package", (one of each filters) when I'm in the area.
