This part came off the back of my ck30, not sure exactly what it is or if there were some pins holding it in. Just noticed it almost completely out and loose today after brush hogging. Anyone know what it's for and how it's suppose to attach to the tractor?
Look at the base of the rear of the tractor. This bar slides in to the rear, and has 2 pins to locate it. I believe the multiple holes allow you to change how far it sticks out.
Yep. Look for big pins. If you don't use it, just store it somewhere and get some pins for future use. I keep mine off the tractor when not in use, because the pins just drop in and can fall out.
You are lucky you caught it before it fell out somewhere. Mine disappeared a few years ago. I don't know whether the pins fell out and then I dropped the drawbar back in the fields or woods somewhere or whether some metal scrounger stole it while the tractor was parked. The dealer wants $250CD to replace it and the pins, so I'm doing without for now.
