Has anyone ever used their pallet forks on their rear lift? If so, did you fab an attachment to fit the forks or did you buy one?

See there you go making me start another fabrication. Darn you!

Hunting season ends next Tuesday and I'm going to need something to fill that gap. It's my next project. I built an electric boomless sprayer out of a 250gal water tote with 3 nozzles and want the option of carrying it in the rear.

I made one. Unfortunately it's on loan or I'd photograph it, as a starting point for you.
It is basically a rectangle of 4" heavy RHS with two sets of 3 pt mounts on one side: holes to pin to, and pins. They are spaced about 5 inches vertically to give clearance...and lugs to take pins for my FEL. I made it so it can be used either way around, eg I can put 3pt attachments on the loader or loader attachments on the 3pt. Handy thing when you need a handy thing. I put a spray boom on the FEL with it etc.

Edit: I made a stand for it that pins on where the top link goes, to stand it up and make it easier to hook to the tractor. Then that pins on the side when not in use.

I already have a set of SSQA forks for my loader. I'd like to get a second set for the three point, but I'm a little strapped for cash right now, so I'm just gonna add three point pins to my existing set so I can use it on either end.

240, many people have built pallet forks to mount on the 3 pt hitch of their tractor. You can lifter significantly more with them than with front loader forks. When combined with a hydraulic top link you have a very versatile tool. I use my rear forks for moving large logs around my sawmill and hauling firewood on pallets. I have a carryall box that I pickup sand can set down when I am working in the woods. If you such tbn forums i expect you will see a lot of examples of rear forks that people have built. Thanks for all of the replies! Now I'm not sure if I'm going to build 3pt forks or an attachment for the loader forks. Whatever I do, I'll add pics of my creation.

Built the front forks. Four forks for use as brush forks, or two forks for pallets.

Bought the rear forks. Can't really see them in the photos but they were cheap and strong. It would have cost as much for me to make them rather than buy them. And the mounting holes would have been done with a torch...ugh.
