ok guys, how about take a look at this for me. talked to a dealer today, and these are the numbers he gave me:
L2800 w/ loader
howse shredder
armstrong box blade
post hole digger w/ 9" auger
tiller
finish mower(i think these last 3 were all Kuhn)

Is the L2800 new or used? How many hours? Are the attachments new or used? Sizes on the attachments?

everything brand new. i believe the finish mower, shredder, and box blade were 5 ft and the tiller was 57"

I paid 19.2k for my l3400hst, loader, box blade and bush hog, 2 1/2 years ago, in the SC lowcountry.

I would get another price quote or two. It's one of those that is OK but I think there is a good chance you can do better. If you are not locked in to a local dealer expand you range to 500 miles and see what happens.

Might also want to look at a 6' finish mower. Finish mowers don't require as much power as a shredder.

Yeah, I think so. He does need to leave the trash talk on the field, though.


You can't go wrong with the 2800. There's a lot of talk about the jerky 3pt, and while it isn't the smoothest, to me, it's only noticeable when I read about it on here.

yea he does have a mouth, but other than that...thanks for the input on the tractor too.

i'm thinking about dropping the finishing mower($1995) from the package, which would drop my finance amount and put my payments where i want them, and just buying it from TSC instead($1500). does anyone have any input on the TSC brand implements?

Are you located in Snook? If you're looking at Normangee tractor they had the cheapest prices around when I shopped.

The TSC finish mowers are fine for the price and their tillers are even better for the price.
