P7040s Opinions

I am looking at the P7040Sand have a few questions that I can't seem to find answers too. I think the transmission is full synchro, meaning you can shift on the fly in any range? Also I would like to know the ground speeds for each range. Any general opinions on this tractor would be appreciated.

I have the 7030 CPS and love the tractor so far. You don't use the clutch to shift from forward to reverse or to use the hi/lo feature. (Buttons on the right gear shifter) As far as ground speed for each range you can go from a slow crawl to "I really shouldn't be going this fast". With 40 forward and 20 reverse speeds you can pick the right speed for the job. As far as shifting on the fly you can do that too, but it's not like a on road vehicle in that the second you push in the clutch, she slows down real fast. I haven't driven mine on a paved surface, it may be a little different. I have put 45 hours on mine in the last 10 days and would buy another in a minute.
