Overall length

Hello,
I bought a mahindra 2816 hst with a mo1 loader and , well, not sure the backhoe that came with those at the time, 2009 or 2010. I'm currently away from my home and was thinking of purchasing a trailer to carry it on. But being away I don't have the overall length which includes the loader and backhoe attached. Does anyone have the overall length of the tractor with the loader and backhoe attached. That would be with the loader on the trailer decking and the backhoe bucket on the decking or up in its carrying position. What length of a trailer would be suitable. I'm not sure of the weight distribution, but I had a smaller trailer and we'd back the tractor on as I felt the rear was much heavier with the backhoe and such attached. Thanks.

Get a 20 foot dovetail equipment trailer and you will be happy. You could do an 18 foot but what if you needed a little room for some material or a cutter or box blade. Always better to have a couple extra feet. I would also go with 5,200 lb dexter axles. 3,500 would probably be ok, but you might upgrade tractors one day and it is better to have your trailer already so you don't have to make two big purchases at once.

Ok, so the tractor measures more then 18 feet with the backhoe and loader attached? Just been shopping around at trailers from dealerships online, as I can't get out to look at them until another week or so. But the tractor is 10 hours from the trailer dealearships and I'm a boat ride of 14 hours, or a helicopter ride from the trailer dealers while i'm here at work for another week. Their certainly long with the backhoe and loader attached.
