LS XG 3025 shuttle w/LL 3110 FEL
OK so I'm out at my Hunting Club bush hogging some Food Plots. Backed up to turn around put it in forward, and now it won't go. Won't go forward won't go backwards. This is an XG 3025 with the shuttle shift. Doesn't appear any linkages are loose, somebody tell me what to look for. 379 hours, Never adjusted the clutch on it but shouldn't need it although I'm in the woods, and willing to try anything. Of course it's about a mile back to my truck. Help!!

Also it´s not hydraulics because the front and loader and a three point hitch both work just like they're supposed to

ok even though I'm talking to myself, LOL, here's what got me going. Disconnected all the safety switches, cleaned the terminals and plugged back in. Took everything OUT of gear, main transmission, 4wd and hi med low selector, then put everything back in gear. Checked hydraulic oil, was between the lines but on the low side, added a little bit. Fired it up and it's back working again. Probably one of the sensors, I'm leaning more to the seat sensor than anything, even though I was sitting in it for a couple hours before it happened.

but the lil blue tractor is back working again

By "won't go" in the first post, what do you mean exactly? Won't start or starts but won't move?

If it start but wouldn't move, sensors wouldn't have any effect on that, since it's a shuttle shift and everything that controls the transmission is mechanical.

My guess is you bumped the tranny into neutral....

My guess is brush dislocated some wiring under tractor. Best to armor undercarriage with expanded steel.

Papa, my guess is you accidentally knocked the range selector or did not fully have it set. It may have been in an “in between “ position. That would make the shuttle lever inoperative. I accidentally did this and thought something had broke. Fortunately for me, I just pushed in the clutch and reset the range selector. Everything worked thereafter and it has never happened to me again. There is no wiring that will affect the transmission functions, only stuff that will not let the engine start. Our tractors do not have seat safety switches, at least mine does not from the factory. The HST models do.

so you missed the 'won't go forward and won't go backward' part? LOL just pulling your chain of course.

well I've done that before myself and panicked when I did it, LOL but I checked, rechecked and checked every gear selector on it and nada. not until I made the adjustments I made. Mechanic friend of mine said he thought it was probably the seat sensor. Yes he's an equipment mechanic, has his own shop and works on everything from atvs to dozers.

I've done that before, usually with me it's the hi med low selector I bump when I turn around, but not this time. and as mentioned, I checked all the different drive selectors and nothing helped until I made the few adjustments I made. I've been on and off it all evening, and it's been fine.
