after the prep work, it was time to mask off all the areas I wanted to coat. I had taken all the bolts,and nuts off that were in the way, and that I did not want to risk getting stuck forever. I covered the holes, that were threaded, and just started to tape. I have, by this time already made some mistakes, so in the interest of preventing you from making the same, I will mention them now. It goes without saying, that you must make sure that your tape is flat, and tight on the work surface. You want a nice clean line. What is not readily known, is that when working with this stuff, you need to take off the tape before the material dries. For example you put on the first coat light, it is only a primer coat. Then immediately after you put on the second coat, you remove the the tape. I did not do this, and it gave me some headaches later. Note, the directions clearly tell you to do this. I did not see it, and it was my fault. In my defense, I was counting on putting at least three coats on, and I did. So maybe thats why I missed the instruction. Here are some More pics
