Just returned from the OSU-MIchigan game & couldn't contain my excitement. What a great feeling when your team finishes 13-0 & is going to play for the national championship. If things work out, I will be in heading out west to Tempe to watch the big game. Lets see now, how can I make this a tractor related post.....

Ohio State kinda of squeaked by on a lot of the games this year,Illinois....but they did go undefeated so thats what counts....If they play Miami,I am afraid Miami will "clean there clock for them"

I've been there when we've lost to Michigan and it sure is a lot more fun to be at the Horseshoe and win as we did yesterday. Most people think Miami will be OSU's opponent in the Fiesta Bowl. They will be hard to beat but that's why the games are played. I won't be going so you guys do a good job rooting for us in person.

I actually read an article tonight about some pretty serious rioting going on after this game <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.msnbc.com/news/839315.asp?0cv=CB10>here</A>. It really bothers me that with all of the positive energy of a great sporting event, we still get these drunken idiots (not that drinking and football do not go together quite well) out to destroy something./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

RF33, I saw the damage on the news in Columbus this morning. Some kids were actually talking on cell phones & taking pictures while they were jumping up & down on overturned cars. That is real dissappointing. There were over 105,000 people in the stadium, not counting those that didn't go in. Then you get about 100 hoodlums who do the damage. They will grow up (hopefully) & regret their actions later.

Lets see, making it tractor related..since tractors are agg.type vehicles...and Michigan State is an agg. type school (moo U) and it appears that OSU has now beaten MSU for the after game riot honors...and someone with a tractor will probably be cleaning up the mess..its a cheap shot but I tied it in.

Shade, What a great game. Did you go to Tempe? I was really tying to but things didn't work out. Instead, I cleaned out the garage & rented a big screen TV. We had about 30 people come over. What a great time & winning made it so much better.

Ohio state played very good,but the officials robbed Miami of a touchdown,definately a bad call, if it had not been for that Miami would still be the Champs.Miami was ripped off.

I thought there were a number of calls by the refs that could have been questioned, and though I think the last one in the end zone against Miami was correct, I agree with the Miami coach, as he said <font color=blue>"``Officials make the calls,'' Taylor said. ``That wasn't a turning point. We should have never been in that position.'' <font color=black>

The game involves the refs, and the good, bad, and ugly calls they make is all part of the game - right or wrong.

It certainly was an entertaining game, not like so many bowl games that are lopsided and with one team acting like they had just lost their mother. Iowa comes to mind. I wonder if they were so hyped up and the adrenaline up so high, that by game time, they had nothing left to give. They were pathetic, to say the least.

Of course you won't mention the gift(blown) calls you got in the Rose Bowl in '97 that allowed you to sneak into a tie for the NC. Were Nebraska and Washington both ripped off? From your perspective I suppose not.

Iowa was pathetic because they had not played a game in seven weeks. Whoever does their scheduling should reconsider finishing so early in the year. They played like it was their first game. This was not the Iowa team that was second place in the Big 10.

was a good game, i don't care who was the victor. both were good teams. after all it is just a game!!! but all u OSU fans are entitled to gloat. u earned it.
