Original Tractor cab for JD 2305 - what options?

Looking to add a cab before any more snow flies this year here in MN. Original Tractor Cab seems to be the only one that is priced anywhere close to reasonable - so that will most likely be my choice.

Comes with Lexan windows, etc. Can add a saftery glass windshield, electric wiper, side mirrors and a strobe light too.

For those of you with experience on this cab, what options should I consider (if any)?

Over the last 6or 7 years I have had one of there cabs on a JD425 then a JD2210 and then kept it for my JD2305 . I have the windshield, electric wiper (depends some times use it maybe 2 or 3 min the whole evening out plowing snow or not at all ), bought the mirrors. I did install a strobe light from TSC for appx $35 then hard wired to my back light on Rops with a cut off switch on back light .
I sprayed expansion foam on inside of hard top to help keep the heat from the sun outside and cold outside.
Also just put about a 12" piece of old carpe on floor to cover the large holes around brake pedal and HST pedals. Reason for doing this I put a heater in cab this year from a Ventrac .
Good luck on your choice from my dealings with Original Cab you should be very happy with what ever you choose. If you order today you might have the cab on Monday or Tuesday. Will take about 3-4 hrs the first time to install This year I left complete cab work on tractor leaving the windshield , top, and wiper on all summer. Other years I just left the 2 small brackets near seat, the floor brackets, and frame work that mounts on dash area.

I would give the Original Tractor Cab an 8 out of 10 and spend the extra for the glass windshield. I had one on an X585SE and it worked great. slkpk

Yep - that's the one I saw too. Want to make sure I order the right stuff the first time in terms of options.

I have the basic cab on my 455 and the only thing I added were lights to the roof for night snowblowing. I have the basic window and have never had a need for the glass or the wiper in all the snowblowing I have done. For the money, I love the cab....

I bought mine from the green dealer too... Great people....

Does the rear window open any? I am just wondering if I have access to the rotation handle on my Buhler Snowblower. Also how does it attach on the fenders and the hood? Is there anyway off adding a small heater of some sort also? Also can the lights mounted on the ROPS still be utilized.

Back window does not open .....Not knowing how close handle for blower comes to the rear of tractor .... you could unsnap the right or left side or cut an area where you could reach back to turn the handle or extend the handle through the hole you had cut.
I had a Golf Cart heater in front corner of cab on the right side next to window.
heater came with a holder that fit in a cup holder I put a strap around the holder that came with heater and attached the ends to upright post holding the cab..
The bottom of cover on back of cab is fastened by velcro strip

Just a few photos of my 2305, Amish made trailer, Original tractor cab,with my way of keeping warm, and new cutting edge of 54 JD Blade.
Sorry for so many photos but needed to show the upgrade of cutting edge, the original one was worn out after 2 years. Then I wanted to show how I keep warm with little cost. Yes I do run chains in winter because of slope of driveway and not wanting to replace garage doors plus plowing snow down beside house.

Hope this helps on heater location.. This year I added a regular heater from a Veratrac and mounted it in the left side of cab and still left the holder in the right side. Still holds 1 or 2 bottles of water holds gloves, muffs,pliers, just misc items.
when I put the heater in this year with the radiator hoses I cut the cab just below the slit in front ,then put some snaps on the cover and spare piece of cover that came with cover.
