Ordered new Kubota L3940 HST

Hello all,

Thanks to everyone on the forum for the helpful information. This forum certainly accelerates the learning process.

Pulled the trigger on the L3940. Will pickup in Bayfield CO this week.
724 Loader, with loaded R4 tires, quick attach, aux hydraulics with hose kit to the front, landpride box scraper, and BH 90. Here comes the mac and cheese. I actually started the shopping process looking at the 3240 and got the numbers mixed up. Will post pictures next week.

I went with the 3240. For my acreage here in SC its perfect. I just came in from clearing a few trails and pushing out some rotten stumps. That 724 fel is great!
I was bush hogging and got carried away and mowed some of the neighbors field too...

My brother-in-law has the same tractor with loader and backhoe and just loves it. And he is very hard to please and a lifelong JD guy as well.
I have an L4300 and would never trade unless I could replace it. I think you will be very happy.

I need to clear this up before I go and pick up the unit this week.
My quote says LA 724 loader/Standard SS Quick Attach/L2235 72" Bucket included.

Does the the Quick Attach refer to the loader itself or the bucket. What I'm looking to accomplish is to acquire a Quick Attach bucket.

I'd be very surprized if that bucket isn't SS QA. The QA in your quote refers to the loader....but, it'd be a strange dealer to sell a pin on bucket with that set up.

The L2235 is the quick attach bucket. The SS QA is part of the loader. Your dealer has you configured correctly.

I picked up the GL 3940 on Thursday in Bayfield CO. It's an incredible machine. The HST delivers as advertised. The 724 loader is very smoooth.
I used the box blade (Land pride 2552) to level and spread two belly dumps of pit run around the shop. Dug a few practice holes with the BH 90. It rained all day on Sunday which was perfect to compact the materials. The only bad part was saying goodbye for 3 weeks. I have 12 hours on it.


The unit resides in Utah at the retirement property and I work in Phoenix.
It just about brought a tear to my glass eye.
