About my situation. RK is 8 miles away every dealer we could find is about 50 miles away.
All I mean is that Mahindra, RK, and TYM tractors are manufactured either in whole or in part by TYM, and like siblings, these tractors seem to share some genes.
Yes, it has a Mitsu engine. But Korean FEL. Other components, not sure. Assembled in PA. May vary between models.
Have given up trying to figure this stuff out, but the specs are similar between RK and Mahindra.

GWWT, I'm confused. In post 42 and post 48 of the link above u say the FEL on your Max26XL tractor is made in USA yet yesterday you said it is Korean FEL. I am researching the Mahindra line so I can better answer posters with the correct info when they ask questions here on TBN so if you could please clarify would be awesome.
I saw the Assembled in PA label when shopping for the tractor and mis-remembered later that it was on the FEL. When the subject of "what was made where" came up here on TBN, I went outside looking for labels and realized the USA label was on the *chassis* and the FEL said Korea. I corrected this either in that thread or another one, I believe.![]()
I've since found a label on the subframe that says made by Mitsubishi in Japan. Same for the ROPS. Not sure if that means the whole tractor body was made by Mitsubishi.
Labels found so far:
Engine: Mitsubishi
ROPS: Mitsubishi
Subframe: Mitsubishi (possibly the entire tractor body?)
FEL: Ansung Industries (Korea)
Assembled in PA, USA
Looks like folks who call it a "Japanese tractor" aren't too far off!
Regardless of the labels, I'm happy with the fit, finish, and performance of everything on the tractor so far.
I heard the Mahindra-brand implements are made in USA but have not found labels yet.
Ok, thanks - that is great info. I see Ansung has a USA division that makes implements as well. I remember coming across their name when looking for backhoe options. I never realized how many of the Mahindra's here in US are actually made by either Mitsubishi or TYM until recently.
Ahhh, maybe the Mahindra implements are made by Ansung's USA division then.
The puzzling thing to me is, TYM (Korea) is "listed" as a primary manufacturer of Mahindras. Yet the only component so far that I've found made in Korea was the FEL, made by Ansung. Mahindra does own 33% of Mitsubishi. An excellent acquisition and I'm sure an expensive one. Is it all starting to make sense now????![]()
TYM makes the 26xx, 25xx, E-max, MForce series tractors tor Mahindra. It is a lot of tractors. TYM also made the 10 series for Mahindra aka 4010, 5010 etc. those were a TYM tractor built to Mahindra specs with a Daedong (Kioti) engine in them.
Well, my 26XL has Mitsubishi labels all over it.....
Does anyone have a tractor with TYM labels on it? Does TYM have their own labels even?
Yes your Max was built by Mitsubishi, and yes the tractors I listed will have TYM labels on it. Just don稚 confuse the Max ( Mitsubishi) series and the EMAX (TYM) series, they are different tractors. You Max is built a lot stronger than the EMAX is.
The eMax series only goes up to 22 HP. Emax has its advantages (would love to have a little eMax 20 for tight spaces). But I opted for MAX weight/power for the size.
I have nothing against TYM; they are a well-regarded manufacturer. Do they really make the MForce series?
