Ordered a 2520 last week

Great forum and lots of good information! I've done lots of reading here before deciding on what tractor to buy. So a week ago I ordered a 2520 with a 72" MMM, loader, & 6' blade. Paid $18K and some change but also will trade in my 455 which knocked off another $5500. So now the wait. They tell me May 17th but I'm not holding my breath. They tried to find one in the state, but all were sold.

So does John Deere usually hit their delivery dates for those that have ordered? I've read some earlier threads where they were delayed but wondered if that was when they were first released.

Dealer said that JD is telling him 3-4 weeks, but it has been running closer to 4-6 weeks in some cases.
I think I'm about ready to ante up, dealer says 22100 for the 2520 w/200cx and 46bh, other toys will have to wait. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ordered mine in Jan and it came two weeks ahead of schedule...

I was lucky my dealer had one in stock great machine the only disapointment was the independent lift that turns out not to be so independent LOL

I'm also thankful to this forum for the amount of information I was able to find. A month ago I wouldn't have known a PTO from an SCV but basically all of my questions have been answered.

I ordered a 3320 with an LX5 and a 300CX loader this morning and the dealer is promising me delivery next Friday. I think it was a timing thing, he had sold all the 3X tractors on his lot and had one on order that left the factory yesterday. I'll let you know if it arrives on time.

Tractor made it Friday as promised. I must have bush hogged 15 acres this weekend and had her sunk to the frame twice. It stays wet up here in Maine in spots. Now I know why most farmers have dirty hats. On the bright side I found a new spring and am getting pretty good at unsticking tractors. Thank heaven for 4 wheel drive and rear differential lock /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Unbelievable WindyHill. Still waiting here for mine. Your dealer must of had some new ones coming or something for you to get one that quick. There are several JD Dealers around here and I have yet to see a 2520 in real life. 2 weeks ago I changed my mind on the tires from R3 to R4's and that even added a couple more days. Due date now is May 20th. Wife is getting anxious as well. She has lots of projects around here to do. I'll just keep reading about everyones fun they are having and counting the days.
