Sounds almost too good to be true, and you know what they say about things that sound too good to be true.

Where was the ad-local newspaper, Craig's List, e-Bay? If you can take a trailer with you, try the tractor in person, pay for it on the spot, get a bill of sale, and haul it away then and there, then by all means go for it.

If this is something on e-Bay or Craig's List, and they want a deposit up front without seeing it first, keep away like they have swine flu and the plague combined.

Sorry Ben, its a scam. Google the ad or seller name and I would bet you find it listed many places. Just to much tractor for too small of price for it to be true.

THanks guys...all the L35s I've looked at online are minimum $17,500 so I am wondering if the guy just forget the 1 in front of 7500! Anyway, I've requested pictures and more information. It probably is a scam but if I can see it in person who knows...my friend got a steal on a Bobcat as it had to be sold at a firesale price due to a divorce.

Thanks...I'll keep you posted,
Ben

Ben, no doubt this is a scam, low low priced tractors are listed on Kijiji on a regular basis, there's never a number to call and they want the money up front with a promise they'll ship it to you. Hope I'm wrong, that's a heck of a deal.

Ben,

You still didn't tell us where the ad is at!! If eBay, Craig's, etc. I'm sure it's a scam. Is the thing close enough to put your hand on??? If it's the real deal, it would already be gone by now, so if they say it's still available, it just has to be a scam.

There are times, I must say, when things do sell for absurd prices. Most usually it's in a divorce settlement or an estate sale. Although a judge can, and sometimes does, nullify these things, it is amazing how intrafamily discord can make an ex-spouse, or the sibbling who was appointed executor by the parent, to sell something for way below market value just to spite the ex or the other sibbling(s). Sometimes an executor does it just to get rid of stuff really fast, let's say a person with no kids left everything to a charity, but appointed a friend to be executor. The executor might have little interest in taking the time to solicit market value bids, and might even dislike the fact that the money is going to charity instead of him. This doesn't happen often, but I have seen this kind of thing occur.

Still, if this ad were legit, and something like I described above, it would be gone by now. If the person advertising it says it's still available, caveat emptor .

Check this link out. . add at least $10,000.00 to the price, and you'll find some real machines for sale.

Guys..click on my link..you'll find a dozen ads exactly the same in different cities..it's a scam!
Don't give them your phone number or e-mail address..because that's what they want. Of course they'd like your money, but any info could be used against you.
