Here's what I've seen and concluded on the surface for a few brands.
1. Cat and Bobcat have similar radiator placement. You really have to keep after them to keep them debri free. A have run a 272C with both over the tire tracks and the VTS. I honestly like the VTS. Very simple and it gives a bit of gear reduction that helps the tractor. Also gives the 272C more stability and ground clearance.
2. Gehl 7810, I have run for about an hour. I wasn't sure what the h.p. rating was but I thought it was supposed to be 115. I didn't measure flow but the psi was down a bit. Maybe with some tuning to raise the psi some it would be good. I have seen them used in Tx. but you don't really hear much about them.
3. The new Tak. TL150,, With Supertrak having modified them for cooling and adding a high flow pump they hold up pretty well. Tracks are alittle cheaper and last alittle longer. So that should make the new TL250 a new contender. SSP&M have amost 5000 hrs on there's and it's still running.
You can't put any money in your pocket when the tractor has it's hand out all the time.
