Hi all,
Below is the link to the machine in question:
2012 Kubota L3800 Loader Backhoe 265 Hours | eBay
Hi all,
I would appreciate opinions on the value of this machine.
And I have the following questions:
1. Isn't the Grill Guard Bent Forward, Significantly?
I contacted owner, and he said it was always that way-but he claims to be the second owner. Yet I've seen pics of L3800's grill guards that follow the exact curve of the tractor's grill, which this clearly does not.
2. Is the Hoe a BH77?
I also question whether this is actually a BH77 hoe? It looks too small to be a BH77, yet I see it IS the curved boom hoe, which the BH75 was not. But perhaps the rest of the tractor and the big FEL are responsible for this "optical illusion? but it just looks too small to me, to be the BH77 (which would be great if it IS the BH77).
3. How Big of an FEL Did the "non-Grand L's Come With, Optionally?
Also, can anyone tell me what the biggest FEL (by model number) is that could be had on these "non-Grand L-series" tractors is?
4. Any Idea of Price of a Non-Hydyaullic Thumb Kit for a BH77 Hoe?
5. There IS No Kubota-authorized Way to "Hydraulify" Their Manual Thumb, Right?
The above is what I've read, as compared to Woods, which has the whole hydraulic thumb shebang thing down, on their BH80-X "Groundbreaker" (an 8' hoe), including remote (if a rear remote is even needed with the Woods--maybe it's internally-plumbed, in the hoe? [I have no idea if that's even possible...]. AND the Wood's setup included the foot pedal for the thumb) for a known price. ($1,600., all in, if I recall correctly?).
6. Dollar-value of This Machine, As It Sits?
All opinions welcome!
7. Concern About Possibly-Bent Grill Guard?
I'm not so concerned about buying a new one (or "heating and beating" the old one, after it's removed, of course). I worry about if the tractor frame could be bent, in the area where the guard mounts. Not being close enough for a pre-purchase inpsection, I welcome all opinions and advice.
Thanks in advance.
