My older brother just purchased a new L3940 with the air conditioned cab and a BH92 backhoe. I'm a New Holland TC40D owner myself but I must admit how nice of a setup he has. There is nothing that compares to a brand new tractor of this quality in the stable is there? I have a question with the operation of the BH. I have a frame mount Ford BH on my NH and my hoe experience begins and ends there. On my hoe I have two joysticks just as does his BH92 and they operate nearly the same. My right hand joystick controls the booms crowd and extend functions as well as the bucket curl and dump which I'm assuming is a normal configuration. His BH92s right hand joystick also controls these maneuvers except to operate the crowding you have to push the joystick rather than pull the joystick. Is this normal on this hoe? Mine is just the opposite and it feels counter intuitive to push your hand away when you want the dipper to come toward you. Sorry for the long narrative and I hope it is understandable. Any advice out there?
