Online parts lookup diagrams not correct

I was on MEI's site looking for part numbers and the diagrams don't match the page heading. If you scroll down however, there is a list of parts that match the heading. With so many parts sections and pages to go through, it's a nightmare finding what you need. I tried two other online dealer parts sites and it was the same. I just like to have the proper diagram to know what part I'm looking for. It makes for a intelligent conversation with Bob from MEI or anyone else and allows online ordering if possible. I used my parts manual instead but it may not have the latest part revision or numbers. Does Kioti not want us to have the diagrams to use?

I ran into the same problem; however, after playing with the system, I found by using zoom (+) the proper diagram came up. The system is truly flawed, but most diagrams will come up. I hope this helps.

With the old Kubota L2800 some guy hosted the manuals and you could download them for free. I would still do a search for part by number and would sometimes have a revision of that part number, dealer should know if it was revised by old number.

All the parts ordering and service manuals ought to be available to customers via the web and service manuals, etc, should be available on CD with periodic updates. I called and talked to Kioti Corporate about this a few years ago; they seem to have paid no attention to the concept. MIE, and others who put the parts reference material on their web sites do it as a courtesy for those of us who want to shop online. One would think Kioti would want the info out there for all to see, and hardbound service manuals seem a waste of trees and the cost of them is not cheap. The more info we as customers have the better the system could work, and dealers and Kioti could theoretically make more $ too. :confused3:
Maybe we should get an online signature list going from any TBNers who would like to see CD service manuals, etc, and then send it to Kioti Corporate?!

Yeah, there is still much room for improvement, no doubt. But Kioti has come a long way:
it was not until recently that you could view parts diagrams online and order parts directly on
a dealer site. MIE is a leader.

I have bought factory PDF servuce manual CDs from Kubota and Deere, and they are MUCH less
than the paper versions. Kioti (and Bobcat), pay attention!

A model for the whole heavy equipment industry is Genie/Terex: all PDF manuals are available
as PDF downloads, gratis.

I would think companies would promote a product that could be serviced and supply said service material for free would be a win, win, for that company.

well, that service isnt available for automotive...so why should it be for tractors. if it cost $0.01 to do, no one wants to do it.

I've used the parts site several times before and had no problems but that was around 6 months or so ago. I tried the zoom this time but maybe not far enough. Thank you Tony

90% of the automotive you can find a forum that has a detailed step by step repair process/video or how to, not so much with tractors.

Not so fast. Soft copy factory manuals are available for both my 08 Subaru and 1982 Mercedes and the online Mercedes parts site is free.
